AMENDMENT I
Point 1. Article 22 of the Constitution is replaced by the following: The euro (EUR) is the Republic's primary currency and the sole currency used by the Republic's institutions for the budget, official accounting, payments, fees and charges. Transactions among citizens, legal persons and other private participants may use either the euro or the Bosnia and Herzegovina convertible mark (BAM), at their free choice.
Point 2. Article 23 of the Constitution is replaced by the following: The Republic imposes no taxes. Ministries and other bodies authorised by law may prescribe and collect administrative fees and charges solely in euro, with the amount, purpose, legal basis and review procedure published in advance.
Point 3. The Amendment was promulgated and signed by President of the Republic Din Arijan Dodik and enters into force on publication.
