DECISION
Point 1. The Republic of North Sarajevo is a non-military state and has no military, armed forces, military units, armaments, military budget or compulsory military service.
Point 2. No institution, district, service or association may present itself as a military formation of the Republic or grant military ranks or operational powers.
Point 3. The Police of the Republic and the Ministry of Internal Affairs perform policing, administrative, security, operational and other functions prescribed by the Constitution and law.
Point 4. The SSOA performs security, intelligence and counterintelligence functions prescribed by the Constitution and law and is subject to the prescribed oversight.
Point 5. The security system comprises the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the Police of the Republic, the SSOA, civil protection authorities and other bodies designated by law, each within its respective competence.
Point 6. All public pages and documents shall clearly present the Republic’s non-military status and the civilian character of its security system.
Point 7. This Decision is made and signed by President of the Republic Din Arijan Dodik and enters into force on publication.
