Point 1. (Subject)
This decision implements the territorial organization of the City of North Sarajevo and establishes the official digital borders of its districts.
Point 2. (City of North Sarajevo)
(1) The city of North Sarajevo is the home urban and administrative area of the Republic of North Sarajevo.
(2) The City of North Sarajevo consists of:
1. Višnjik District (VI); 2. Breka District (BR); 3. Logavina District (LO).
(3) Districts are institutional administrative units of the City of North Sarajevo and do not represent separate cities or separate levels of government.
Point 3. (Official digital attachment)
(1) The official digital attachment of this decision is the file "border-district-city-severno-sarajevo-2026.1.geojson".
(2) The attachment contains three polygons in the coordinate reference system EPSG:4326 and is an integral part of this decision.
(3) The SHA-256 hash of the official attachment is:

Point 4. (Source and Verification)
(1) Boundaries are based on KML extracts from Google Earth, the source files of which are published with this decision.
(2) The Official Gazette keeps the source file, hash and history of each subsequent version of the border.
(3) In the event of a discrepancy between the map display and the official GeoJSON attachment, the GeoJSON attachment whose hash corresponds to point 3 of this decision is authoritative.
Point 5. (Migration of records)
(1) The Government, the body responsible for registers and the Republican Election Commission within 30 days transfer the active territorial records to the borders referred to in point 3 of this decision.
(2) Previous boundaries remain available in the historical archive with their date of validity and may not be silently overwritten.
(3) Automatic border change cannot by itself change a person's citizenship, RSS ID or voting rights. When the change affects the registered place of residence or electoral unit, the person receives a notification and the possibility of verification or correction.
Point 6. (Public announcement)
GeoJSON, KML extracts, boundary map, metadata, version and history of changes are published on the registry of the territorial organization and linked to the pages of the City of North Sarajevo and each district.
